Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Research Foundation (AADRF) Partnership Engagement Grants provide a mechanism by which researchers can approach Alzheimer’s Australia with requests to contribute financially and/or in-kind to partnership grant applications to other funding agencies (e.g. NHMRC Partnerships for Better Health Projects (Partnership Projects) and ARC Linkage Projects).
There will be up to $100,000 available per annum for funding requests. In-kind requests will also be considered.
Requests for support will be subject to a four stage assessment process comprising:
1) Expressions of Interest: Alzheimer’s Australia will assess and shortlist EOIs as they are received;
2) Detailed Proposal: Applicants shortlisted at stage one will be asked to provide detailed project proposals which will be assessed by members of the AADRF Scientific Panel and Alzheimer’s Australia;
3) Ranking and Recommendation: Proposals shortlisted at stage two will be ranked by members of the Consumer Dementia Research Network (CDRN);
4) Final Decision: The AADRF Board will make final decisions on whether or not to support each proposal, based on recommendations from the CDRN.
